Ski Touring - pure enjoyment

Immerse yourself in the silence of nature

Alpine skiing in the Lungau looks back on a long tradition. In the glorious mountain world of SalzburgerLand, recreation seekers are able to immerse themselves in absolutely pristine tranquility. The peace you discover in our snowy winter countryside also reveals a path to your own inner self.

The trials and tribulations of the ascent ... the satisfaction of conquering a summit … the total high of slicing back down through the deep snow - impressions that are hard to capture in words! In the special ski-touring guide to the Lungau region, more than 30 different routes have been compiled for rookies as well as experienced ski tourers.

Especially enchanting and thus highly recommended: Zederhaus, a village in the nature park and an ideal starting point for many beautiful ski tours. Here, the ski-touring season lasts half a year. You will discover mountains to ski up of all difficulty levels, and because you already set out from an elevation of 1200 meters, you can always count on great snow conditions from the very outset.

From the Preber, for example, a peak over 2700 meters tall, you are treated to magical views extending from the Grossglockner to the Karawanken.
